BMH Technology Oy is a pioneer in renewable energy and waste processing, producing some of the world’s most formidable industrial equipment. Their flagship shredder, the TYRANNOSAURUS®, is a powerhouse designed to refine the waste of millions into high-quality recycled fuel. Our collaboration began when BMH sought a partner to ensure the machine’s external appearance reflected its immense technical capabilities and its critical role in environmental sustainability.
The goal was to move beyond the purely functional look of heavy machinery and create a design language that matched the shredder’s technical properties. BMH wanted the equipment to radiate power and quality, but also to subtly communicate the importance of the circular economy and environmental protection. For a machine of this scale, the visuals needed to tell a story of intelligent strength—robust enough to shred almost anything, yet sophisticated enough to detect and reject unshreddable items automatically.
BMH wanted Buorre’s design for its new Tyrannosaurus crusher. Efforts were made in order for the waste crusher’s appearance to match its technical properties and to describe not only its power and quality but also the importance of our environment. With the help of Buorre’s design team, an external design language and a color scheme combining elegance, excellence and aggressiveness were created for the crusher. Buorre also implemented impressive visualizations of the crusher for sales and marketing purposes. Sales-enhancing and illustrative images also play a major role when the product is the world’s largest crushers, which crushes the waste of millions of people into pieces of recovered fuel the size of a box of matches.
Working closely with the BMH team, we developed an external design language and color scheme where elegance and excellence meet a calculated industrial "aggressiveness." This visual identity emphasizes the machine’s efficiency and the precision required to reduce waste to the size of a matchbox in a single stage. To support BMH’s global sales and marketing efforts, we also produced high-impact 3D visualizations. These illustrative images are crucial for a product of this magnitude, allowing potential clients to grasp the scale and sophistication of the system without needing to stand beside a 90-ton steel frame.
