In the world of building drainage, functionality is often expected, but design excellence is rare. Our long-term partnership with Vieser began with a bold ambition: to transform the floor drain from a hidden utility into a sophisticated, user-centric product family. The centerpiece of this collaboration was the Vieser One, a project that allowed us to apply our expertise across industrial design, branding, and structural packaging to create a market-leading solution.
The primary goal was to strengthen Vieser’s position as a Nordic market leader by unifying their visual identity and introducing a revolutionary product family. For Vieser One, the objective was twofold: to solve the technical challenges faced by tilers during the casting process and to elevate the aesthetic appeal of the final installation. We aimed to create a system that was not only technically superior but also visually desirable enough to win the world’s most prestigious design accolades.
We approached Vieser One as a holistic design challenge. We developed an innovative, adjustable support solution that ensures the drain remains in the exact position during concrete pouring—even in harsh winter conditions. Complementing this technical feat, we designed a decorative designer cover and an adjustable steel frame that gives tilers unprecedented freedom in tile positioning.
Our partnership extended far beyond the product itself. We refreshed Vieser’s visual identity across Finland, Sweden, and Norway, and designed award-winning, cost-effective packaging that allows the product to be visible without being unpacked. From detailed instruction manuals and product catalogs to a presentation video, we ensured every touchpoint communicated Vieser’s commitment to combining "functionality and aesthetics."
